It is exactly 25 years as Mikhail Gorbachev was elected General Secretary of the Soviet Communist Party on March 11, 1985. During this time Mr Herb Meyer served in the Reagan Administration as Special Assistant to the Director of Central Intelligence and Vice Chairman of the CIA’s National Intelligence Council.
